I'm a Brisbane-based marriage celebrant, lover of all things colourful, and firm believer that love deserves to be celebrated in all its beautiful, gloriously diverse forms!

If you're looking for a non-traditional celebrant who tends to colour outside the lines, gets excited about dreaming up ideas and listen to what matters to you… then I am sure we will get along rather splendidly ✨

Whether you're dreaming up an intimate elopement, a relaxed legal-only ceremony, or a big, joy-filled celebration with all the bells, whistles and happy tears, I'm here for it!

A little bit about me

I'm a colourful, creative soul with a soft spot for glitter, watercolours, whimsical things and the everyday magic that makes life feel a little more wonderful.

I'm also a Registered Nurse with more than 15 years of experience caring for people. Nursing has taught me the importance of listening, compassion, clear communication and being a calm, steady presence when emotions are running high. These are qualities I bring into my celebrancy, too.

I know that standing in front of people and sharing something deeply personal can feel wonderfully exciting… and also sometimes a little daunting! My job is to help you feel comfortable, supported and genuinely excited about your special day.

Think of me as your dreamy but grounded celebrant, enthusiastic collaborator with a generous sprinkling of sparkle.

Behind Bespoke by Becky

When I'm not writing or celebrating love stories, you'll usually find me enjoying the quieter moments in life.

I'm a proud cat mum to two gorgeous felines, a coffee-and-cupcake enthusiast, an enthusiastic collector of books (often reading several at once), and someone who can happily lose time in my watercolours.

I love exploring beautiful places, getting out into nature, chasing waterfalls and finding a little magic in the everyday.

What it's like to work with me

Warmth, kindness and personal connection. I want you to feel comfortable being yourselves throughout the entire process, from our first conversation to the finalisation of all your wedding legalities! With me, you’ll find there's room for sentiment, silliness, tradition, creativity and everything in between!

You can also be assured that I’ll bring calm and capable guidance. I'll help you navigate the legal requirements, explain what needs to happen and keep the practical details on track, so you can focus on the meaningful stuff.

And of course… a little sparkle. I adore colour, whimsy and the unexpected. But don't worry… glitter is not compulsory! Your ceremony will reflect your taste and preferences, not mine.
